The diagnosis of a child with autism bring changes to the life of a parent and the child. These changes may seem difficult at first, but if you make small changes every day, week, or month, they will be more manageable. If your child is younger than three years old, contact the early intervention services in your state. The earlier that parents can start an intervention program, the more positive the outcome for the child. Click here for more resources.
