Inclusion at School

Teaching individuals with ASD how to form relationships and understand the feelings of others is very important when considering the future potential of an individual. These references will assist teachers in preparing an inclusion classroom for children with autism especially in a busy, noisy, elementary classroom.
Among therapies used are the Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS) and visual schedules. All students are not alike and should be educated in the manner that is most beneficial to the individual.
