The height of the trunk support and seat are now adjusted quickly and stepless with spanner grips. MEYWALK 2000 Medium is for children from 8 to 14 years of age.
The seat and trunk support has spring suspension to encourage a better and more natural gait. The seat unit can be lowered by using a swing bar, making it easier for the user to get in and out of the walking support and putting less strain on the caregivers. The body posture of the user can be set in any position from vertical to bent forwards by 15°, making it possible to find the body inclination that gives the user the best control.
MEYWALK 2000 is made with materials of high quality, that guarantee long life, maximum reliability, and a minimum of maintenance. MEYWALK 2000 is therefore suitable for indoor as well as outdoor use. - Specs

Key User Dimension: Inseam Height, Armpit Height, Trunk Width
Measure the vertical distance from the child's inseam to the floor while the user is standing upright (seat height). Measure the child's armpit to floor to confirm the trunk support height. Measure user across trunk, at armpit height, side to side in a straight line, to indicate proper ring size. Choose the Gait Trainer that allows for growth .
Important: Make sure that the chest prompt width is adequate, allowing for growth. User's weight must not exceed the maximum working load.Seat Height

Frequently Asked Questions:
How does the Meywalk Pediatric Gait Trainer compare to other gait trainers?
When comparing other walkers to the Meywalk and Miniwalk Gait Trainers, please remember that gait is not a linear movement. As a person steps forward, the pelvis moves down in relation to the floor, allowing for heel-strike (which provides stability) and toe-off (which provides forward propulsion). The Meywalk has a unique "spring assist" system which not only allows for this movement, but also assists the user to come back up into the mid-phase of gait.
Most pediatric and adult gait trainers do not allow for this up and down movement. As a result, users must find atypical ways to elicit forward propulsion, such as "pulling through" or providing lift through their forearms.
An adult displays approximately 3.9" difference in pelvic height between the mid-phase and toe-off, and most children exhibit 1.5" - 2.5" dependent on their height.
What is the dynamic gait movement on the Meywalk gait trainer?
The Meywalk gait trainer moves up and down with each step, allowing the user to come down into a heel strike and toe off. As the user steps forward, the spring lifts and assists with the swing through phase of gait.
How does the Meywalk gait trainer help develop gait pattern?
Meywalk has springs, which make the gait trainer react to the movements of the user during gait. Thereby the child’s muscles are stimulated and the gait pattern is developed. In praxis the upper part of the frame - including seat and trunk support - follows the movements of the user thereby providing optimal support through the various phases of gait.
Does any other pediatric or adult gait trainer that you are looking at have this capability
Gait trainers are utilized with a wide variety of diagnosis, including Cerebral Palsy, Post Closed Head Injury, Post CVA, Geriatric Rehab and a variety of other disabilities when strength and equilibrium are compromised.
