Special needs tricycle improves leg strength, balance, fitness, and endurance. A great way to combine fun and therapy for kids of all ages. Designed to provide minimum support for your child, however, if more support is needed, there are several accessories available to choose from.
Flexible and adjustable, the trike grows with your child--no tools required. Available in three sizes: small (kids ages 4-7, inseam between 7” and 22”), medium (kids ages 7-12, inseam between 22” and 28”), and large (kids and adults ages 10 and up, inseam between 25” and 35”).
The large tricycle has a few exclusive features, like the carbon fiber drive belt, which won't stretch and is resistant to rust, so it lasts 5x longer than a standard bike chain. Also has swing-away laterals and handle bars that allow easy transferability, and an adjustable backrest handle that can be positioned vertically or reclined from 7.5 to 15 degrees to accommodate the rider. Other key attributes for the large trike include:
- Variable assistance, which provides drag for a more controlled speed, or locks the wheels
- Adjustable pedals for leverage and security
- Smooth-gliding seat adjustability
- Puncture proof BMX-type tires
- Rear basket large enough for stationary stand
No matter what size is needed, each model provides proper support, and boosts the rider's confidence.
