I bought this item to help with complications after Prostate Surgery. I did not use it because when installed as shown above it did not work for me with a round bowl stool, as shown. Today, I thought that I would try it installed with the long part down. As shown, the retaining straps do not retain it. I secured the right strap to the left retainer and the left strap to the right retainer. It works great for me now! Review by Ivan Wampfler / (Posted on 8/26/2013)
