Introducing the Wingman Harness, a unique gait training and physical therapy tool that provides safety and support to both user and caretaker during home, school, or clinical therapy. Born of a desire to improve the lives of those with movement related disabilities, the Wingman Harness is made to improve the lives of a wide range of people with disabilities through increased mobility, support, and posture.
The Wingman Harness features an innovative back plate and vertical handle that allows a parent or therapist to provide variable truncle support in a more benefically ergonomic way. With the Wingman, wearers receive the healthy guided therapy they need while the caretaker keeps the user safe and supported without any undue strain or discomfort. Also, the Wingman Harness is constructed from military-grade materials for the best in strength and durability.
The Wingman Harness comes in two sizes: Small for children ages 3-10 (2-10 in clinical use) and Large for users ages 10 up to Adult. It is currently being used in clinics, schools, and homes across the country in a variety of different therapy applications:
An excellent gait training tool, the Wingman Harness encourages a more natural upright posture, extension of the hip flexors, and engagement of the core muscles. The Wingman Harness also allows a more natural use of the upper extremities and head control also required for a more natural gait experience. While gait training, the Wingman Harness helps prevent falls and injury. When combined with a treadmill at the home, the Wingman Harness can provide a valuable home therapy experience to greatly augment the traditional therapy received in the office. Parents can also encourage gait training activities in normal daily activities.

The Wingman Harness is ideally suited for encouraging correct posture and head control while riding a horse during hippotherpay. The Wingman Harness also allows variable holding/support options for the therapist during aquatic therapy activities.
