Adaptive Bikes

Adaptive Bicycles

Bikes for special needs, also known as adaptive bikes, are specially modified to fit the needs of the user. For example, adaptive bikes may have more back and neck support or sit lower to the ground. They may also be propelled differently (such as with hands or hands and feet). Adaptive bikes may have training wheels or thicker wheels making it easier for users to balance while riding.

eSpecial Needs adaptive bikes are great for therapy, exercise, recreation, transportation, and freedom. When choosing a bike for children or adults with special needs, it's important to measure the user correctly. You can find our adaptive bicycle and tricycle measurement guide here. Once the measurement form is submitted, we'll respond with a list of suggested bicycles and accessories that fit your needs.
