This new set of flashcards is designed to enable children to understand Who, What, When, Where and Why questions. This set has 8 events which have 5 corresponding Wh- questions in sequence. When events are broken down into structured sequences, children can better answer questions pertaining to their daily experiences.
"What do you carry your books in?” “A book bag” is just a piece of arbitrary information. Putting questions into sequence gives meaning to the questions and helps the child understand an event. You go to school to learn and play, the teacher gives the class, you carry your books in a book bag, you wash hands before you eat snack and it's fun to climb on the playground. These question sequences help a child make sense of their world. Other examples in the pack include the shoe store, the supermarket, the school, the doctor and the library.
Each set includes 40 each 5" x 3 1/2" cards.
