    Wh-Questions Series: In The Home

    SKU# E00798
This set of flashcards focuses on Who, What, When, Where and Why questions in the home.

This new set of flashcards is designed to enable children to understand Who, What, When, Where and Why questions. This set has 8 events which have 5 corresponding Wh- questions in sequence. When events are broken down into structured sequences, children can better answer questions pertaining to their daily experiences. Examples include taking a bath, swimming, playing hide and seek, brushing our teeth and more!

    Each set includes 40 each 5" x 3 1/2" cards.

    Use these cards to:

    • Teach children to answer questions
    • Teach children to understand questions
    • As social sequences

The child understands the value of “Wh” questions when events are broken down into structured questions.   "Why do you eat breakfast?"  "Because you're hungry",  is just a piece of arbitrary information. Putting questions into sequence gives meaning to the questions and helps the child understand an event. You eat when you're hungry, you make breakfast in the kitchen, you can eat cereal for breakfast, you wash the dishes when you're done and you need a spoon for cereal.  These question sequences help a child make sense of their world.

Other picture cards in this sequence:
(1 of 5) Why do you eat breakfast? Because you're hungry
(2 of 5) Where do you make breakfast? In the kitchen
(3 of 5) What can you eat for breakfast? Cereal (pictured above)
(4 of 5) When do you wash the dishes? When you're finished eating breakfast
(5 of 5) Which one do you use to eat cereal?   The spoon
