The Special Tomato MPS Car Seat offers comfortable and proper positioning support in a car seat that is FMVS213 compliant - meeting all requirements for car seats designed for children weighing up to 150 lbs. The modular cushion seating surface allows for individualized adjustment and years of growth. Seamless, latex-free cushions are impermeable to fluids and soft, yet durable. It withstands cracking and cleans easily with common disinfectants.

Simply use the included LATCH System to properly anchor the Special Tomato MPS Car Seat as a car seat for kinds up to 50 lbs. If your vehicle does not have LATCH System or for children weighing from 50 lbs. to 150 lbs., a vehicle lap/shoulder belt must be used. The Special Tomato MPS Car Seat is available with your choice of two different style headrests - standard and a lateral headrest for children who require additional lateral support.

The tether system must be installed at all times when using your Special Tomato MPS as a car seat. The Special Tomato MPS Car Seat is also designed for use with standard tie-down systems for bus or van transport and meets ANSI/RESNA WC/19 safety regulations.†

†Special Tomato MPS seats purchased before 10/2003 dates are not suitable for use as a car seat.

Please Note: Due to a potential occupant safety hazard, Merritt Manufacturing prohibits using its chest clip guard with this product. This seat has shoulder adjusters (or some impediment in the shoulder area). Shoulder adjusters (or similar impediments) are not compatible with our chest clip guard. The chest clip guard is specifically designed for Merritt Manufacturing’s Roosevelt and Churchill car seats. Please confirm that the chest clip guard on this Purchase Order is not being purchased for this product.
